Google My Business Phone Support

Navigating the Google My Business online support can be pretty frustrating. You can find answers to some of the most common problems, but it can take a lot of digging, or professional help.

We are now using Twitter to contact Google My Business support. We that it is often faster and more effective and phone support. It’s easy! Here’s how.

If you’re not familiar, you don’t have to Tweet to the whole world. You can send Direct Messages with Twitter, similar to the text messages. We have heard that some of the contact options in GMB have been hit and miss lately. Try @googlemybiz.

Happily, Google does offer telephone support business pages. They are trained to navigate the system. The really good support people can sometimes move mountains, or at least know which of the thousands of mole hills to move.

How to contact Google phone support

First, go to Google My Business Help. Sign in with any Google account.

1 In the top right, click “CONTACT US”.
2 Selelct “Ownership or access to my business”.
3 On the next screen select “Other Problem”.
4 The next screen will give you the option to “Request a call”.

You’ll need to answer a few questions. Select these answers:

What is your relationship to the business? — “I’m and owner or employee”

How do you manage your business on Google? — “Google My Business on your computer”

Click Next, plug in your phone number and Google will call you back right away.

You many have to wait a few minutes, but soon you will talk to a real, live person about your Google My Business Page!

  1. I’ve followed this process multiple times to change errors in my business page and google have not had the professionalism to phone. Also its a nightmare trying to find a number for them.

      Here are a few other things you can try. From your email it t looks like you are in the UK. I can’t say if or how these might differ from the US.

      1) 650-253-0000 is the general customer service phone # for Google. There is an option for Google My Business.

      2) The Local Search Forum is filled with expert advice.

      3) This is the Official Google My Business Community. More experts here.

      4) This is the Google Mapmaker forum. I believe there is a UK group as well.

      5) Lastly, if you every do get an email response from someone at Google who is actually helpful, keep that email. If you respond you *usually* get a reply from the same person. Even if it is on a different topic, you can build a relationship with someone who can work with you.

    I have been trying to get my business on google for 2 maybe 3 years now and google just isn’t interested in helping me the Filipino help desk just doesn’t have the intelligence to comprehend my needs, so they just throw it on the too hard pile and hope i go away. I have written a letter to google head office, but like their verification codes I don’t get anything back, I really don’t know what to do my business is going down the toilet and google just doesn’t care.

    • Yikes! That must be really frustrating, Dean. First, make sure your business is eligible as described in the GMB guidelines. Assuming yes, I would Tweet them @googlemybiz. It is usually one of the US based teams that responds to these. We have had the best luck via Twitter. Let us know if this works out for you!

  4. I’m in Australia and I downloaded the app and it’s easy to request a call back from here, no luck on a desktop version of the site though. Just go help and support and request callback… easy!

  5. There was some error in the steps provided but I ultimately found the “request call back” link. Thank you so much for putting this information out. I have called the 844 number on the page multiple times and I was NEVER connected to a specialist. I was on hold multiple times for at least an hour (saying to myself, “going to hang up” or “forget Google Business”) I was starting to think that there was no one to handle my issue. Thank you again!
