The Digital Marketing Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship Bridges the Gap

A solution for building diverse talent in a fast-paced industry

Apprentices are the new way forward

Apprenticeship has long been a proven pathway into skilled careers in other parts of the world—so why not in digital marketing? At Two Octobers, we built a Registered Apprenticeship because we saw a gap: schools weren't keeping pace with what employers actually need, and requiring a 2- or 4-year degree was leaving out great potential talent.

In 2020, we partnered with the Colorado Department of Labor to build a program that meets US Department of Labor standards, giving apprentices a structured path to becoming fully qualified digital marketers.

For candidates, that means a way into a well-paying career without the cost or time of a traditional degree. For employers, it means a growing supply of talent trained to meet evolving needs. Curious how it works for you?

Our Experiences

Raquel Torres-Miramonte, former Two Octobers employee

“I don’t think I ever imagined that I would have a desk job, or something more professional that isn’t like manual labor, and getting paid for it. It’s been amazing.”

“College is not an option or a fit for a lot of people. Requiring experience and a degree for entry-level jobs is not only unjust, it is bad for our business. The best teams I have been a part of weren’t built on credentials, they succeeded based on passion and diverse perspectives.”
